Pallets in the Food Industry

According to the USDA, pallets used in the food industry should not be coniferous wood (pine) and should be free of bark or knots.  In addition, if the pallets are used to carry food for consumption then they have to be free from chemicals, mold, metal mending plates, and have to be very clean.

Nationwide Pallet and Crate can supply premium or A Grade (“new build”) reclaimed wood pallets meeting USDA specifications for the food industry.
